In 2022, I presented my first solo exhibition in nearly two decades. Although I had been painting throughout the preceding years, it was a time spent exploring ideas in the privacy and intimacy of my own studio space, away from external pressures. After moving into the Creator Incubator studio complex in late 2021, the warmth and camaraderie of fellow artists and the expansion in space opened a new period in my painting practice culminating in the exhibition, a series of abstractions, Creator Incubator Galleries, Newcastle, NSW.
