Robert Cleworth is primarily a painter living and working in Newcastle, NSW. As the recipient of the Samstag International Visual Arts Scholarship in 1993, Robert undertook postgraduate study at the Glasgow School of Art. He has since exhibited widely in Australia and has works held in the collection of the National Gallery of Australia and other public and private collections.
